Our facility strives to achieve the best periodontal and oral health for our patients. In case of any unknown pathology, a biopsy and histological evaluation may be recommended. For histological evaluation and oral pathology reports, our facility uses the UCLA Oral Pathology Laboratory. A biopsy is a very simple procedure that can be done under a small amount of local anesthesia.
In general, the result of the pathology report is discussed during the follow-up postoperative appointment.
